Theme: Out of the Shadows

Think beyond taking a photo of an actual shadow, and focus more on how the contrast between light and shadow can create drama and emotion in a photo.

This is Em on a recent field trip to the National Museum of Naval Aviation with her VPK class.  The kids came across the presentation area that had floor to ceiling windows and a wide open, fully carpeted seating area that was, currently, missing the seating.  The kids all ran around like airplanes and the museum was filled with the joy and laughter of 20 delighted 5 year olds.  The otherwise, very quiet and dark museum, seemed to have lit up.
