37/365: Geocaching

We recently downloaded a geocaching app on our iPhones. Geocaching is an outdoor activity in which the participants use a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver or other navigational techniques to hide and seek containers (called "geocaches" or "caches") anywhere in the world. It was the app that brought us to Urasoe Castle Ruins yesterday. It was a lot of fun trying to locate the "cache". The Girls were so excited and couldn't wait to open the container when we found it!

There was a log book and coin inside. Typically you would take a gift and leave a gift of your own. We didn't have anything to leave so we just signed the logbook and buried it back where we found it.
