1/365: Happy New Year!

Jason and I tried our hardest to stay up to ring in the New Year but yet again, we fell asleep. We had a great evening with some friends, got the girls tucked in their beds and we crashed on the couch.





This is a screen shot of my iMac tonight. I know it seems silly but there is a reason for it. I was chatting with my Mommy on Skype (see the Skype window there?) about all of the great things that I want to accomplish this year. I want this to be the year for figuring it all out. I know, that sounds crazy, but in my head it makes sense. I want to figure out where I am in my life, where I fit in and who I want to be when I grow up. I want to figure out the balance between house work and time with my loves. I want to find the time to relax and enjoy this life that we're living.

My Facebook was open and I was gushing about what an awesome Husband I have. Today, he sent the Girls and Me out of the house to hang out with our friends. When we got home, the house was clean, the laundry was washed and put away and my iPod was updated with great music! He is an awesome man, that Man, and I am reminded everyday of his love.

And finally, I have officially created my "January 2011" folder for my photos. I recently looked back at all of our photos from this past year and it just makes my heart melt. I love seeing how the Girls are growing and turning into such beautiful young ladies; the things that they are accomplishing and having them all documented so that we can look back on them when they are older.

Here's to the bright New Year
And a fond farewell to the old;
Here's to the things that are yet to come
And to the memories that we hold.
