Ginowan City

I wanted to take Mom "downtown" so she can see how the locals live. It's funny, living on base, it seems no different than being in the US but, when you cross the gate - it's totally different.

The roads here are tiny and go every-which-way. In some spots you have to see around the corner to see if it's clear to go.



A Japanese Post box



Most off base houses are not equipped with clothes dryers. This is a common sight.



There are lots of little alley ways



This building so reminds me of something you'd see Downtown Detroit (minus the kanji, of course!)



Most of the houses have some kind of gate in front of their yards. Some are really cool
