Such an awesome day!
Today we headed down to Naha, which is the capital of Okinawa. We had such an awesome day that we are going to do it again tomorrow! We headed down to the airport to park the car. We knew that we would be able to get back there if we had found ourselves lost. From the airport we took the Monorail to Kokusai Street to walk around. Kokusai Street is a mile long street that has everything from stores to hotels. You can read more about it here. It really is so different than anyplace that I have been in the States. There are stores, on top of stores, on top of stores, literally. Since Okinawa is such a small island, they build up, not out.
Here, motorcycles are allowed to drive in between cars. I tell you, it's enough to scare the crap out of you when you're not expecting it!

Hello Kitty version of Shisa Dogs. You can read about them here.
Aren't they cute?!

Natalie was so excited when she saw this, "Look Mom, a bike car!"

We stopped to get the kids, or should I say Jason, some ice cream. They picked grape flavored soft served. Yummy!

My kind of store:

I know I've seen this face somewhere before:

Oh yeah, here it is, LOL!
Looks like it runs in the family!
And while in Okinawa, who wouldn't want to eat at Charlie's Tacos?!
Habu Sake. Habu's are highly poisonous snakes here. It's believed that there venom has medicinal properties. Ewww, just ewww!
See, I do exist.

The monorail.

Don't get your hand stuck in the door. It will hurt and you will cry!
Emme, just being Emme
Anyone need to go potty?
Really, in Okinawa?
We ended the day by going out to have some Yakisoba.
See who is still using her utensils? : )

She was beat by the end of the day!
And now for the stuff that I haven't updated in the past few days. My sister sent the Girls this doll to use sort of like a Flat Stanley. It's used to provide an opportunity for kids to share there experiences with other kids. They are supposed to keep a journal documenting the places and experience they have had with Flat Stanley. Here's our take:
At the commissary.
And the fighting begins!
We took the kids to see a Chinese Acrobat Show. They had such a great time!
And just one more because she is so cute and getting too big, too fast.
