Kites, 100 Yen, Curry & Squirtguns
We received a package from my Mom the other day. It was packed full of things that we forgot when we left and a bunch of new goodies. She sent the girls some kites and they LOVE them. It's often very windy here so they will get tons of use! Neither of the girls have flown kites before. There was absolutly NO wind in Beaufort so this was a great new experience for them. They played outside flying there kites for at least an hour and a half. They had so much fun - they were giggling so hard!
Yesterday we went out with our neighbor to the 100 Yen store. It's Japan's version of the Dollar Store, except it is oh, so much better! : ) We had a great time browsing around trying to figure out what things were and how to use them. The kids had a blast and it was nice to get out for a bit.
We figure we would try to go out in town for dinner last night. We went to CoCo's. It's a curry house. I've never had curry but I figured we might as well try it. It was a fun experience but I think it's safe to say that we will not be eating there again. There is NOTHING about curry that I like, not even a little bit. Good thing they served rice with our meals or we would have left starving, LOL!
It's starting to get hot here. We got the Girls some squirtguns, they love them! They can have fun and keep cool.
