So here it is...
The long awaited update!
Things have been so crazy around here lately. We are nice and settled in Knoxville. We have spent the last month everywhere but here. Jason came up and we went to visit my in-laws in Michigan for a while and then to Ohio to visit with my bestest friend, Kara for a few days and then to South Carolina to visit with my super, amazing, wonderful friend Natalie. We ended up back in Tennessee, 28 days later with a tired and sick Mommy, a super sick Emme and a glad-to-be-back-home Natalie. Emme has been to the ER twice and to the doctor countless times in the past 2 weeks. My poor baby had an Upper Respiratory Infection, followed by a Urinary Tract Infection, topped off with ANOTHER Upper Respiratory Infection and Double Ear Infection. There has not been much sleep around here lately as you can imagine. No time to update with a sick baby attached to my hip all day.
We had such a great time in Michigan. It was nice to spend some time with my Husband and visit with everyone. It was great to see everyone again. I was able to spend some time with my oldest sister, Tiffany and her boys. Natalie had so much fun playing with them and they sent home lots of goodies with her. We took the kids to the cider mill while we were there. The same cider mill that my Mom used to take us to when we were kids. Natalie had a blast. She loved picking apples. We found out that my Brother-in-law Tim, and his wife Kira are expecting. We are so super excited for them and we are sending them lots of pink, sparkly, baby girl dust that we can find! :)
We had a wonderful time in Ohio too! We were only able to stay for 2 days but we love anytime that we get to spend with Kara, Kris, and their boys Isaac and Elias. You may remember them from my post with the pictures from the beach a few months back. Kara took us to this park called The Ledges. It had the most awesome views! The kids hiked for awhile, while Kara and I did some catching up. I didn't bring my camera but I'm sure that Kara got some great pics (Hint, Hint, Kara!) Everyday Natalie picks up her pretend cell phone and calls her "Boyfriend" Isaac. She said that they are going to get married. Kara is also expecting and just found out that they are having a little girl, Lylah Sophia. I'm so excited!
From there we had to take Jason back to South Carolina and went to visit with my friend, Natalie, her husband, Jason and their two girls, Skylar and Kylie. You should remember them too from a few posts back. We had a great visit except while there we got everyone sick, SORRY GUYS! I know that Natalie had a great time visiting with her friends and Kylie LOOOOVES Emme. There were a few meltdowns, but all in all we had a great time. Thanks SO MUCH guys for all of your help while we were there. It really means a lot. We miss you guys and hope to see you soon!
So roughly 3,000 miles and 28 days later and we are still trying to recover from our trip. Poor Emme has to go back to the doctor tomorrow because she still is not feeling well. So pray that she shakes this soon so that we can all get some sleep!! ;)

I sure hope you guys start feeling better soon....poor Emme. She needs Miss Kara to hold her!!!!
